Morris County, Past And Present

Morris County was founded in the late 1730s. It was named after the governor at the time, Colonel Lewis Morris. Abundant natural resources of iron ore led to the foundation of the first major industry in the area. Industries have grown and diversified dramatically since then. Research, manufacturing and pharmaceuticals are the leading industries in Morris County today.

Morristown is the governmental center of Morris County. It is home to the Morris County Courthouse, Morris County Memorial Hospital, and several culturally and historically significant landmarks. Historic homes, museums, and beautiful parks make the city rich in history and culture. George Washington himself camped in Morristown during the Revolutionary War.

Across Madison Avenue from our facility is the Morristown Medical Center. The Morris County Courthouse is less than a ten-minute drive from our office. Free parking is available in the lot outside the building, including accessible parking spaces. Our facility and office are wheelchair accessible.
